The site's content, which includes text and media internal or external to the website, could have different licenses depending on the article. Each article may or may not specify its license in its front matter/metadata row (where there's other stats such as the date of publication and reading time). Here follows a list of the licenses that you could find:

  • No license specified which means all rights reserved to me or to others (e.g. an article about a commission that is now property of whoever commissioned me);
  • Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA) license which allows you to redistribute and modify the content as long as the following conditions are met:
    1. Attribution: there has to be proper credit of the original work's author;
    2. NonCommercial: you cannot sell or otherwise earn money through the original or modified work directly;
    3. ShareAlike: every redistribution or modification must be licensed under this same license.
  • Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA) license which allows you to redistribute and modify the content as long as the following conditions are met:
    1. Attribution: there has to be proper credit of the original work's author;
    2. ShareAlike: every redistribution or modification must be licensed under this same license.

All licenses mentioned in this page are just briefly summarized, follow their links to read the full license terms.

There could be exemptions of certain parts of an article (e.g. some copyrighted pictures) from its license, which would be specified.
