Since 2016 I've had as my main PC a custom machine with a **dual core Intel Pentium**, 8GB of DDR4 memory, no dedicated graphics card and a 1TB hard disk for both data and the OS, all because back then I was very broke and could only spend around €315 on this computer, not counting the first case I had which was reused from an old dead PC and then the second one which was a gift from a friend. With time I upgraded the RAM to 16GB, went through several graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia and upgraded to a few SSDs for the OS and a 6TB hard disk for data. The **biggest bottleneck** was still the CPU, it just couldn't do much of anything despite having more RAM and a good dedicated GPU. That all changed when I got my hands on an **Apple Mac Pro 5,1** from mid 2010 at the beginning of this year, but you might say: "What!? A Mac as a PC!? Are you nuts!?!?", the answer is **no** because it still works more or less like a PC and it's from the days when Apple wasn't super unfriendly with other operating systems and especially with **hardware upgrades**, since this is the Mac Pro with the original cheesegrater design (so don't confuse it for that 2013 trashcan bullshit).

At home I have two computers acting as servers (I hope you like fish themed nicknames): "**Tadpole**" which is an old Raspberry Pi 2 running Ubuntu 20.04 that runs my website, a USB hard disk shared via SMB so that my dad can do things from his office and a bunch of reverse proxies to redirect my subdomains (e.g.: dl.gianmarco.ga) to the other server called "**Sunfish**" which is an HP Proliant MicroServer N36L (basically an x64 box with a door and 4 hard drive bays) that I got at a flea market for just €10 which runs Debian 10 and has [the downloads repo](https://dl.gianmarco.ga/), [a "staging" version of my website](https://staging.gianmarco.ga/), my Nextcloud instance and I'm currently working on a Git server too.

This game is a 2D Run & Gun platformer inspired by Cuphead and Super Mario. The protagonist is Qi, a robot that was built to give love and happiness to the world, which was abandoned by his creator for unknown reasons. Qi must go through all the worlds in his land to reach a portal in space that sent to all of the worlds some bosses that turned good creatures into evil ones. Qi is the only one that can defeat the demon behind all of this because he's a descendant of the long gone and famous Dreamoar dinasty that once ruled over the world in harmony and peace between humans and robots. The first king and queen reigned in the land of Bluemar, which was destroyed by the the war between humans and robots. This war started when the robot son of the king and the queen was killed by the same demon that created the portal. It has the power to transform the entire universe into an infinite land of desperation and pain for all living beings.
